The 80th Venice International Film Festival is organized by the Venice Biennalea; it will take place on the Venice Lido from August 30 to September 9, 2023. The Exhibition is officially recognized by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations). The Festival aims to promote the knowledge and dissemination of international cinema in all its forms of art, entertainment and industry, in a spirit of freedom and dialogue. The Exhibition organizes retrospectives and tributes to notable personalities as a contribution to a better understanding of film history.
