Born in Udine, after her classical high school diploma she graduated in cello at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto (Tv), but then she changed direction and in 1995 she graduated as a master mosaicist at the Mosaic School of Friuli in Spilimbergo (Pn). Since then she has lived mainly making and teaching mosaic in Italy and abroad. Starting from many years of experience as a teacher at the Mosaic School of Friuli, she collaborates with many institutions, holding courses from prisons to schools, to her own laboratory. Abroad you have held courses or worked on various mosaic projects in Palestine, Holland, California, South Africa, annually in Chicago. You have participated in group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. A mosaic of her can be found in the book MOSAIC by Sonia King, Sterling, an interview of her in Vanity Fair magazine (April 2008). You collaborate with architects, private individuals and public bodies.
During her course the basic elements of mosaic techniques will be addressed.

• cutting and preparation of materials using the traditional hammer
• study of trends;
• composition of subjects in direct technique proposed by the teacher and the participants (or subjects proposed by the students only if approved by the teacher);
• notions of mosaic history, color theory, trends, reflections on contemporary mosaic.
The registration fee includes:
• the use of equipment
• the materials for the execution of the mosaics (the use of Venetian enamels and marbles is foreseen; gold materials are excluded)
• the issue of a certificate of attendance-insurance coverage
• the ownership of the mosaics created
• visit to a Venetian enamel manufacturer (if possible)
• visit to the basilica of Torcello
• any other events and proposals
• individual accommodation in a hotel room with buffet breakfast included (6 nights)
The hotel is located less than five minutes by walk from the public water transportation service, with uninterrupted runs, both day and night, connecting the Lido to Venice St. Mark's Square.
The 42 rooms of Hotel Rigel in Venice Lido are unique for the choice of furnishings and the atmosphere that pervades them.
Each one is always inspired by different and fascinating themes linked to a historical period, to places in the world or to some famous person.
