The 61st International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale - In Minor Keys by Koyo Kouoh - will take place from Saturday 9 May to Sunday 22 November 2026 (pre-opening 6, 7, 8 May) in the institutional venues of the Giardini, the Arsenale and various other venues in Venice.
OFFICIAL WEBSITE AND TICKETSThis exhibition will be tuned to minor keys, inviting us to listen to the persistent signals of the earth and life, in connection with the frequencies of the soul. While minor keys in music are often associated with strangeness, melancholy, and pain, here they also manifest their joy, consolation, hope, and transcendence. Through a visual and meditative procession, the exhibition will encourage all the senses to interconnect and lose themselves from one universe to another, revealing the possibilities that dwell in the spaces between and beyond the portals. By staying at our hotel, you'll be very close to the Biennale Gardens, easily reached in just 10 minutes by vaporetto.
